Asphalt*

Old asphalt from road repair and removal. No topsoil and no larger than 3 ft by 3 ft sections. $9 Crushed asphalt used in building new roads.
Concrete*

Concrete pieces with no topsoil and no larger than 30 inches by 30 inches. Metal rebar is acceptable. $9 Crushed concrete is used as sub-base gravel.

Alberta Waste and Recycling will give preference to products and services that have a lesser or reduced impact on the environment when compared with competing goods or services serving the same purpose.
Environmental performance considerations include products which are made from recycled materials; can be recycled or re-used; can be operated in an energy efficient manner and cause minimal damage to the environment as long as they meet the needs for performance, availability and at a reasonable cost.
